Curtain Track – A Basic Guide to Installation
Installing track requires some knowledge of construction, but it does not require expert installers in many cases. Schools usually have facilities maintenance people that are capable of installing track and in churches the congregation often has people with construction backgrounds that can certainly handle the installation.
The weight of the curtain, especially when the curtain is open or closed, creates forces that put a strain on the mounting points. Because of this the key to installing track is to make sure the track is securely and rigidly mounted.
