13oz Crushed Velvet is a medium weight synthetic fabric that is full of texture and bright with luster. Ideal where you want the draperies to “show” and reflect light, it not only looks but feels luxurious. While the overall effect is of a “heavy” fabric it is actually quite light in weight and therefore can be used for pipe and drape panels as well as residential style applications. It is best lined with a poly chintz for theatre applications. Note: this is not a good fabric for any theatre or stage masking application where you are looking for a light absorbent finish.

Consider using Crushed Velvet for Austrian Drapes, swags and home theatre curtains.

How do we keep our Theatrical Fabric prices so low?
There is one thing about us that you should know; We operate a “work-room” not a show room.
Instead of offering fancy sample cards and expensive four-color brochures we ask that you request only those colors in the color palette that you are interested in and we will gladly send them to you!
