Cotton Canvas, also known as duck cloth, is available in a variety of weights and widths. Graded by weight, from 6 to 15 ounces per square yard, canvas is typically made from tightly woven cotton, but may be constructed of any number of natural and man-made fibers including polyester. Canvas may also be blended with other fabrics or coated for weather resistant or outdoor applications.

Although in its natural state canvas is off-white or ivory in color, it readily accepts dye and may appear in any color. Depending on the end use, you can order from a flame retardant selection or non-flame retardant selection. Read our Flame Retardancy FAQ’s for more information.
