Polyester muslin has the look and texture of a cotton muslin, but a much softer hand. It is ideal for use in high humidity areas and for temporary outdoor applications. This particular product seams up very nicely and is a good choice for heavy traffic stages such as those in Schools and Community Centers.

The wide width of 10’8″ (128″) also encourages “railroading” the goods; that is, using them running on their side for seamless drops of up to 10′ high. Polyester muslin can also be scenically treated with appropriate paints. More Backdrop Information.
