Exploring the Options of Specialty Rental Drapery – Part 2

By |September 8th, 2014|Products|0 Comments

Last week, I posted about three of the terrific specialty rental drapery collections that we offer – Silver Satin, Rockin’ Red, and Delightably White.  Well, as promised, today I am focusing on the remaining four collections – Timeless & Traditional, Industrial Textures, Oh So Swanky, and Starlight LED.

Timeless & Traditional

With a variety of drapery pieces that evoke that glamorous feeling of an old-school theatre, this collection of rich golds and reds, velours and satins and fringes, immediately evokes a mood of Old Hollywood or turn-of-the-century Paris.

Industrial Textures

From traditional to avant garde – the Industrial Textures collection takes a 180 degree turn to present the edgier side of rental soft goods.  With Metal Mesh Backdrops and Legs (yes, real aluminum mesh!), Camo, and Crushed Silks in shades of pewtura and grey, this is a collection beloved by the hardest of rockers.

Oh So Swanky!

The best way to describe the Oh So Swanky! collection? Jewelry for the stage.  With an array of sparkling floating non-traditional pieces, from mylar rain curtains to mirror disks to chandeliers, this collection is uniquely beautiful.

Starlight LED

Who doesn’t like glittery lights?  With tiny LED lights embedded in a matte velour background, the Classic Stardrop, with its white lights, sets the scene of a starry night, while the colored lights of the Chameleon Stardrop mean that the sky is the limit in shapes and patterns.  Want something a little softer and more romantic?  Our Low Tech LED Drapes, with lines of white lights glowing through sheer voile, are ideal.

So there you have it – the seven specialty rental drapery collections offered by Rent What?  But the options aren’t limited to a single collection.  By mixing and matching pieces from two or more collections, the design possibilities are nearly limitless.

Exploring the Options of Specialty Rental Drapery – Part 1

By |September 3rd, 2014|Products|1 Comment

In looking through the Rent What? website recently, I was struck by how many options there are for rental stage drapery.  Whether someone wants a soft and romantic look or an edgy industrial vibe, there is something for nearly any stage design.

Today I thought I’d feature some of those drapes in photos.  Hope these photos inspire you!

Silver Satin Series

Silver satin is an incredibly versatile choice for stage drapery.  Beautiful in its own right, it really comes into its own with its ability to change color under stage lighting, as shown in these photos of Silver Satin Swags during a Jennifer Hudson concert.

Rockin’ Red Series

With drapery options that range from Austrians and Swags to Grand Bi-Parting Drapes and Valance, and with coordinating shades of red and burgundy, this series lends itself to set designs from the romantic to the dramatic. From a Red Satin Austrian Drape at the Pollstar Awards to a Burgundy Super-Vel Contour Drape used by Monsters of Folk at the Greek Theatre, red drapery is sure to excite the eye.
