BESTEEL® MODEL 170
BESTEELis the most famous name in medium-duty stage tracks.The Model 170 steel unit is used on the majority of stage installations with medium or light weight curtains with lengths up to about 36’. On slightly heavier installations Models 171-Nor 171-R can be used.

FENESTEEL Model 260 is identical to Model 170 except special master carriers with extension arms are used to overlap the curtain in a single-sectioned unit. FENESTEEL is effective for high window curtains. The cord operated 170 and 260 series tracks cannot be curved.
Model 173, which is for “walk-along” cyclorama and gym divider curtains can be outfitted with pre-manufactured curved sections.

The track channel is also available in aluminum.

MODEL 171-N
Model 171-N employs No. 1737 Nylon Ball-Bearing Single Carriers and No. 1738 Nylon Ball-Bearing Master Carriers are used in place of the standard No. 1701 and No. 1702.

MODEL 171-R
Model 171-R employs No. 1749 Neoprene Ball-Bearing SingleCarriers and No. 1750 Neoprene Ball-Bearing Master Carriers(and No. 1726 Rubber Spacers) are used in place of the standard No. 1701 and No. 1702.

MODEL 172
Model 172 utilizes the larger No. 2803 Live End Pulley, No.2804 Dead End Pulley, and No. 1702-AMaster Carriers are used in order to accommodate the heavier No. 1730 operating cord.

MODEL 173
Model 173 is for stage cyclorama and gym divider installationswhere it is necessary that the operator walk the curtain to itsopened and closed positions. Curves are obtainable in 90°, 75°,60°and 45°bends curved to a 24” radius. Two pairs of No. 1724or 2624 Splicing Clamps are furnished with each curve. The track can be supplied either as a single-sectioned or overlapping unit. No cord or pulleys are supplied with “walk-along” tracks. THIS TRACK IS NOT AVAILABLE WITH CUSTOM CURVES.

Model 173-N
Model 173-N provides greater strength and durability by utiliz-ing the No. 1737 Nylon Ball-Bearing Single Carriers and No.1738 Nylon Ball-Bearing Master Carriers.

Model 173-R
Model 173-R is both quiet and durable. It features No. 1749 Neoprene Ball-Bearing Single Carriers and No. 1750 Neoprene Ball-Bearing Master Carriers instead of No. 1701 and No. 1702.

FENESTEEL® MODEL 260
Model 260 is identical to Model 170 except that it operates as asingle-sectioned bi-part unit (vs. double-sectioned). No. 2602 Master Carriers (self-lapping) are used instead of No. 1702. NOTE: Component parts also available in black. Designated by[BL] after part number.
